The Quick build has finally shipped. 2 boat rides thru China and then Port LA. Train to SLC arriving March 7th. Then a call to the trucking company for final container shipping to KCDC

I owned an older certified aircraft. I liked it but was frustrated with fixing it (and paying someone else to do it!) ADS-B coming... etc.

I've been twisting knobs since learning to fly some time ago and decided that since I have a more modern truck I might as well have a more modern aircraft. so, what to get,

1) Fixed gear.
2) FADEC
3) Roomy
4) Easy to get in/out of the cockpit.
5) Economical to operate.
6) Modern avionics.
7) Simplicity of construction.

Talked to a lot of builders (thank you for your experience and knowledge!)

Decided on the Sling 4 Tsi quickbuild. 50% deposit made June 2109
