Laid up fiberglass and resin, sanded and primed. I'll position and drill after the center section is off. I plan to place it on the centerline of the center section, and have the face of the compass basically flush with the aft surface of the rear spar.

I have been pondering where to mount my compass. Due to several engine instruments being electric, there is not a good spot on my panel that are free of interference. So I have opted to mount it in a pod located in the underside of the center section. Today I made a plug to make a one off part.

Mounted a corrugated conduit, again left over from my RV build, to pass wires from the rear cockpit to the firewall. I suspended it with plastic adel clamps. Began running wires to switches, radio, intercom etc. no matter how I try, it still looks like a birds nest. At least until I get things wrapped and cleaned up.
