Started construction of the motor mount. Luckily, I was able to use a mount duplication fabricated by Ed White, who is using the same engine as I am. A square tube frame, basically shaped, that held the duplicate out in front of the fuselage in the position the engine needs to be. The mounting cups were secured to the duplicate, made out of aluminum, and all the tubing supporting the engine was then welded to them. Worked really well, and at the end of the day, the engine mount actually fit the fuselage! A big win for this hack welder.
