I wanted to cover the spreader bar springs for the landing gear somehow. Originally I thought I would make a leather sleeve, but I assumed that would get oily quite quickly and need replacement periodically, so I opted for aluminum. I made ends that are secured to adel clamps around the gear spreader bars. Then the covers are secured to the ends.

Installed gear leg fairings as well as a 1/2” dia aluminum tube as a conduit for nylon brake lines. Still need to trim the length at the caliper end
