Nov 12, 2022 Section 19 - Wing System Routing 4 - (1.9 hours)

In order to accommodate the OAT probe and Pitot Heat Controller wiring I had to increase the number of pins on the connectors at the wing root. In this session, I added 3 pins to connector C403J and its corresponding matting end on the fuselage wire bundle. The additional pins are:

#10 - Pitot Heat Power Ground
#11 - Pitot Heat Power Positive
#12 - OAT Probe Shielding.

I also added to the fuselage bundle 2 16AWG red+black wires to power the pitot heat and swapped the F2202 wire from 16AWG white to 22AWG blue for the pitot signal.

As a final touch, I swapped the connector on the right wing, although there are no need for extra wires, just to make it clamp down to the wing structure.

Aug 19, 2022 Section 19 - Wing System Routing 3 - (4 hours)

Concluded Section 19 routing the wing harnesses as per stock configuration. Now I have to figure out the add-ons. Pitot heater controller, additional AOA tube, OAT sensor and install servos and other parts that I plan on installing on the wing.

The connector of the GMU doesn't come with instructions and I am glad SteinAir sent a diagram of the Garmin setup with Stock Harness.

Aug 17, 2022 Section 19 - Wing System Routing 2 - (.4 hour) Category: Sec 19 WSR

In this working session, I ran the servo wire harness on the right wing. this harness has a wing root connector that snaps into place. There are wires that will come from the middle of the wing to the root and vice versa. they meet in the middle for the trim servo connection. Turns out very smart and neat design.

I ran the first wire harness for the left wing. The wing root connector seems to be reversed. But the manual says the connection will be provided with the WH-000125 (Fuselage Harness).
