Today was prime and paint day. Painted all of the center section parts.


 
Dec 28, 2022     Roll Bar - (6 hours)       Category: Paint / Decals
Fabricated the F-668 spacers. Fit the roll bar in the fuselage and secured it in place.


 
Dec 22, 2022     Wingtip Wiring Junction - (4 hours)       Category: Paint / Decals
Fabricated a junction for the wires coming from both wingtips. The wires will join together at this point and single wires will go forward to the instrument panel from here.

Prepped and painted the baggage floor panels and the forward seat panels.

Painted Aft Elevator Push Rod, Flap Push Rods, Aileron Push Rods. Painted the holder for the wingtip wiring junction. Painted the baggage floor panels and installed the handles/baggage rings.

Baggage floor panels were scotchbrited, primed, and painted. Afterwards, the baggage tie-down rings (drawer pulls) were mounted.

Scotchbrited, primed, and painted interior panels, floor plates and elevator push rods.
 
Nov 20, 2022     Paint day! - (8 hours) Category: Paint / Decals
Paint day! Megan was home and willing to help so got busy on interior panels. Had to scotchbrite them in preparation for painting, then prime and paint those panels. Then we painted the GSA28 Pitch servo mount (red) and then with her help, I was able to paint the forward elevator pushrod. Long day!
