Jun 23, 2004     Fuselage and wing crates delivered to Little Oil Company warehouse - (4 hours)       Category: Full Kit
Glasair Aviation shipped our Sportsman via motor freight. Luckily Stratford's Little Oil Company had a loading dock and a forklift to make accepting this very heavy crate relatively easy. It was so exciting to take the top off the crate and see our Sportsman's fuselage for the first time.



 
Jan 22, 2004     Moving wings to Brutus's house. - (4 hours)       Category: Full Kit
Luckily Stratford's Little Oil Company afforded us a loading dock for the delivery of our Sportsman kitplane. Then Stratford borrowed a trailer on which we carried the very heavy crates to Brutus and Nancy's house set in a beautiful wooded setting in Hanover County, Virginia.
