Our little Mudd bees are at work during our first full work class. In the first picture, we have a team working on the rib of the mid-fuselage. In the second picture, we have another team working on the lower fuselage. Here the worker bees are in action riveting lots of nut plates. Next, we have the most important bees at work. They are creating the seat back and ensuring that the pilot gets the proper lumbar support they deserve. Lastly, we have a team working on riveting the primary structure. It is a very exciting day to be a worker bee at Mudd!

Finished hard-to-reach screws holding DSUB connector on empennage for servo motor. This wraps up the empennage and wings. The team is now waiting on the fuselage kit, which we ordered last spring. We expect it to arrive this summer and the next class will work on it in the fall.
