Feb 22, 2023     Sealing the Deal (Deal = Firewall) - (3.5 hours)       Category: Fuselage
This week in Aerolab, teams came together to attach their separately assigned parts to the RV7, marking our overall progress. As Aerolab was split into teams, one team applied the fuel tank sealant to firewall penetrations for the fuel line. Another team was match-drilling the door handles on the outer frame, while the other is seen adding stiffeners to the RV7 rudder. The final team was countersinking the rollbar, which is the frame for the RV7 and where the plexiglass will be placed.

Nov 02, 2022     Working on the airplane! - (3 hours)       Category: Fuselage
Coolest day of the class (in my opinion). We had a little field trip to the cable airport to see the cute yellow airplane. Many of us got to sit in it and took pictures. Then, prof Harris took off on it and went 150mph (I think) in a low pass to a rapid ascend. It was super cool and everyone was amazed. Then we came back and continued building the airplane.
