Oct 10, 2020     Completed interior       Category: Interior Finish
Completed installation of interior panels, seats and seat backs. Added "N" number to panel. Inspected engine compartment and identified several areas where hoses and/or wires might abrade. These were secured, usually with tie-wraps. Installed upper and lower cowl in preparation for weight and balance. Activated the ELT by moving the ELT switch from off to armed. Received an error code of two beeps followed by five beeps twice. Tried the remote ELT switch in the panel, nothing happened. Hmmm... very sorry I didn't test the system during initial installation.

Oct 09, 2020     Installation       Category: Interior Finish
Most of the interior sidewalls and carpet are held in place by velcro. The side panel velcro is removed from the side panel pieces and attached to the aircraft aluminum based on the position of the corresponding velcro sewn onto the interior pieces. Carpeting is installed by leaving the velcro attached to the carpeting, removing the velcro adhesive backing and positioning the carpet in place. Control stick boots were also installed. The left seat was installed, but will be removed to allow access to the baggage compartment for interior installation. Workmanship from Flight Line Interiors is outstanding.
