Changed nose wheel fairing attach screws to countersunk/flat head with countersunk washers. Will need to perform appropriate flight testing to determine impact on fuel consumption and airspeed.

Completed installation of rubber landing gear closeouts. Not airtight, but should help. Wired and mounted CO detector.

Completed the condition inspection for N12BB in preparation for sale. Addressing all service bulletins, including the nose gear replacement added substantial time to the inspection. Now complete, I'm back at work on N122B. Mounted nose gear, fork and tire/wheel assembly to fuselage. Lowered to floor. Each wheel sits on dolly, allowing the fuselage to be rolled in any direction.

Added shims to correct toe in/toe out. Rechecked using blocks and string per KAI. Reassembled brakes and wheels. Assembled tow bar. Awaiting nose gear and engine mount.

Final torqued right main gear. Connected brake line. This was very difficult due to limited access. Next plane will connect prior to installing gear leg. Added axles and checked alignment. Left axle has <0.5 degree toe in, however, right axle has 0.5 degree toe out. This will require a shim to align properly (no toe out). Went ahead and installed brake line/fittings. Greased bearings. Balanced and mounted tires.

Final torqued right landing gear leg bolts and connected brake line. Note the brake line fitting was installed while the gear leg was still on the workbench for easier access. Fitted left gear leg/wear plates.

Primed landing gear wear plates and doubler. Pipe thread fitting for brakes installed in landing gear. Assembly installed (final tightening/torque) of bolts to be completed.
