Back to work after 4 months. Converted the main junction of the left and right wing wiring to a terminal block. This should provide a more elegant and maintainable wiring nexus.
I calculated that a 12–position terminal block was required, and so it was. Available from Amazon: search for Terminal Block and Strip 12 Position 600V 15A Dual Row Screw Terminals Strip. Comes with shorting bars which can be cut down to size.
