May 21, 2020     Sight gauges - (7 hours)       Category: Fuel System
Cut holes in the fuel bulkhead and filled with Cabo to accommodate the brass fitting for the sight gauges. Chad mentioned he had two sight gauges for the Standard Velocity and I looked at them. While smaller they are more professionally made. I calculated that if placed at the bottom of the bulkhead the sight gauges could register between 8 gallons at the bottom to 26 gallons at the top for each wing. That's 20% at the bottom (or 1 hr at max burn) to 75% at the top. This is sufficient for the purpose at hand.

May 20, 2020     Sight gauges - (6 hours)       Category: Fuel System
