After much dithering and cogitation, worked up the courage to drill the seat tracks. Anticlimax defined.

Drilled, demurred, etc. Attached skin to cargo door using pulled rivets.

Cleaned up door frames. Drilled to 1/8". for rivets.

Removed aluminum parts. Scuffed with Scotchbrite pad, Acid etched and alodined, using Bonderite C-IC 33 and Bonderite M-CR 1201 AERO.

Using pasteboard templates, and old bedsheet, and scraps of Ceconite, I practiced fitting fabric at various points in the cockpit area. Looks like lots of notching and fitting. Should be fun.

Reworked left fuel line. Rebuilt rear throttle attachment. Reworked trim attachment. (With the benefit of time and a bit more experience, i rebuilt the throttle and trim attachments such that I believe both will be more secure.

In preparation for final assembly, removed firewall. Built a scaffolding to use in raising fuselage. Removed landing gear. Tomorrow, will disassemble and inspect the shock struts, both of which have leaked from day one.
