Jun 23, 2023     Final Installed Wing Root Panels - (4.5 hours)       Category: Interior Finish
After two coats of primer and two coats of flat black paint I installed the wing root panels. Headset jacks and sight gauges also installed in the panel

Nov 11, 2022     Installed eats and finalized Seatbelts - (2.5 hours)       Category: Interior Finish
Seats are in and the seatbelts are all set. LAst step was to add the bungee to the front of the seat as a retainer for the crotch strap

May 17, 2022     Finished Wing Root Panels - (4 hours)       Category: Interior Finish
Used Click-Bond adhesive to attach the “tabs” with the rivet nuts for the attachment of the actual panel. I used a rigid straight edge to make sure the alignment was correct for the tabs. I drills pilot holes from the back of the rivet nut then removed the panel and upsized the holes to fit.

May 12, 2022     Installed seat bottom cushions - (1.5 hours)       Category: Interior Finish
I had to have my seat bottoms redone as the first ones were too tall, meaning the cushions were too thick. Daniel at Sport Aircraft Seats was amazing and these are perfect

Apr 05, 2022     Floor Boards - (2 hours)       Category: Interior Finish
Final fit of the autopilot servo mounting brackets on the floor boards. Applied the carbon fiber wrap to floor boards

Mar 23, 2022     Seat Back webbing - (2 hours)       Category: Interior Finish
Used Poly-Tak to attach the Sport Aircraft seat backs to the seat frames.

Feb 16, 2022     Back wall of cargo area - (6 hours)       Category: Interior Finish
Lots of measuring and fitting of a cardboard on the top edge and bottom, then used poster board for the template before tracing over on the sheet metal. I purposely over cut the sheet metal and then slowly fitted it to a perfect fit. The poster board when in and out at least 15 times, the sheet metal was in and out at least 10 times to get the fit just right.

Dec 02, 2021     Floorboards - (9 hours)       Category: Interior Finish
Tabs were drilled to size and the floorboards were then match drilled. I am using ClickBonds in place of tinnerman clips as they are much stronger and will not fall off. Floorboards were fit very well from the factory and required only a bit of trimming to be fit into place. The floorboards under the seats requiring some trimming and bending to allow for the elevator cables to pass through. I highly recommend ClickBonds. The plate to cover the exposed area around the flap area was not overly difficult, took about 1.5 hours. The hole for the fuel sector was a bit of a challenge to get the right spot for the initial hole and then lots of time to slowly get it to size.
