Jan 29, 2020     Baffle Modifications - (6.2 hours)       Category: Baffling
It is a known fact that the Van's standard baffle kit does not accomodate the ECI tapered cykinders I have on my Aerosport Power IO-375 engine. There are several ways to adjust the wraps of the baffle kit, but I ran across a set of templates produced by some really nice guys on Van's Air Force. I made a set of these, but found out three out of four were backward. Reported my findings on VAF, then went again. Now they look pretty close and will seal the gap around the cylinders. The unnerving part, is you must first cut away the existing flange to retrofit these. Thankfully, it all worked out fine. Whew!
