Place wingtip in position and marked trim line with wing skin. Started to trim to size. First attempt at using decalpro. Results not good. Image doesn't pull all the way off the mylar transfer. Read on internet about cleaning mylar with goo gone or rubbing alcohol. This is supposed to cause more of a static cling of the image to let it release better. Will try tomorrow.

Dimpled tip rib for attaching rivets. Riveted wingtip rib to wing. Routed wiring for electric fuel pump. Added the fuel pump switch inline with the other switches. Cut out new hole in carbon panel for switch inserts. Tested operation of switch with success.

Put wingtip in position over new metal wingtip rib. Used cutoff from front of plastic tip rib and drilled to metal tip rib. Trimmed to match wing skin. Drilled bottom side of the wingtip in place. Installed #6 nutplates into rib flange for attaching wingtip.

We decided to purchase wingtip ribs to use as wingtip support ribs instead of the plastic rib. Used tooling holes to align wingtip rib to wing. Drilled to wing. Test fit wingtip and trimmed.

Drilled tank vent hole. If following directions to drill after flange is installed there is a risk of drilling into the threaded hole. Doing this now eliminates drilling into gas cap vent flange hole. Cleaned out tank by vacuuming. Installed gas cap flange with Proseal.

Installed tank into left wing. Installed root rib. Used Paracord in ends of tank stiffeners to raise up so rib can slide between skin and stiffeners. Removed Paracord when rib in place. Prosealed skin to tank at gas cap flange.

Pressure checked tank. Placed balloon over vent and inflated tank to 2 psi. Sprayed soapy water on all fittings to check for leaks. After 4 hrs balloon still inflated.

Bead blasted doors and primed. Checked that all items were completed in preparation for skinning wing. Continued to work on landing light mount. Drilled 3/4" angle to the circuit boards on the FlyLed lights. Drilled these to the mounts and positioned in spar cutout.

Safety wired aileron and flap bellcrank bolts. Drilled a hole in rib to use as safety wire connection point. Installed aileron cable and safetied cable to bellcrank per installation instructions. Ran wires for landing lights and position lights. Waiting on delivery of magnatometer and OAT probe from GRT Avionics. Will run these wires when receive. Drilled ribs for grommets and ran pitot and AOA tubing. Made landing light brackets from 0.040 aluminum.
