Installed insulated boots to positive side of battery connectors at battery, master and starter relays. Secured cable on arm of cabin air box. Filed a bevel to right door handle contactor plate to let the locking mechanism sllide over the fuselage tubing easier.

Initial install of engine mount to engine. Torqued to 40 in lbs and measured the distance between rubber bushings for spec of 1.80”. Removing mount tomorrow and putting dielectric grease on bushing to let them slide in mount easier. Hopefully this will allow rubber bushings to seat better in the engine mount.

Installed alternator mount to crankcase. lol Removed crankcase bolts and replaced with 1/4” longer lycoming bolts. Torqued to spec. Needed to make a bushing to install in alternator mount where alternator mounts. Alternator uses 5/16” bolt and mount had 3/8” hole. Made bushing from aluminum stock and turned at Dave's on lathe to fit mount.

After 3 days and multiple hrs of practice I have given up on using the DecalPro system. I was never able to get good results or even make the system work. Will be looking for an alternative way to label the panel.

Place wingtip in position and marked trim line with wing skin. Started to trim to size. First attempt at using decalpro. Results not good. Image doesn't pull all the way off the mylar transfer. Read on internet about cleaning mylar with goo gone or rubbing alcohol. This is supposed to cause more of a static cling of the image to let it release better. Will try tomorrow.

Installed tank into left wing. Installed root rib. Used Paracord in ends of tank stiffeners to raise up so rib can slide between skin and stiffeners. Removed Paracord when rib in place. Prosealed skin to tank at gas cap flange.

Pressure checked tank. Placed balloon over vent and inflated tank to 2 psi. Sprayed soapy water on all fittings to check for leaks. After 4 hrs balloon still inflated.

Safety wired aileron and flap bellcrank bolts. Drilled a hole in rib to use as safety wire connection point. Installed aileron cable and safetied cable to bellcrank per installation instructions. Ran wires for landing lights and position lights. Waiting on delivery of magnatometer and OAT probe from GRT Avionics. Will run these wires when receive. Drilled ribs for grommets and ran pitot and AOA tubing. Made landing light brackets from 0.040 aluminum.
