Primer for tailcone and empennage: Akzo Nobel. For some parts (Rudder and Vertical Stabilizer) i used Ekopoxy Primer. The Horizontal stabilizer, elevators, trim tabs and tailcone have been primed with AKZO NOBEL Aircraft primer (Epoxy Primer 37035A) in a professional paint shop.
The Quickbuild parts (wings and fuselage) have been primed directly by VANS, however i decided to scuff and prime the cockpit with a normal metal primer in a professional printshop. I decided to use colored primer (RAL 7016) and a gloss paint dark grey RAL7016.
For the Fiberglass Canopy i asked the same professional to smooth out imperfection after i reached my best in sanding and scuffing. I decided for a light gray RAL 7004 gloss for the fiberglass parts and transparent gloss for the carbon fiber parts.
