�Sorry for the delay on responding, I just heard back form engineering on this and the have approved the larger hardware #10 hardware being used in place of the #8 screws. This will most likely require you modify a washer in order to keep from having interference with the bend radius on the VS-01010-1 hinge bracket but that is also acceptable.

Beringer indicates a couple of Service Bulletins.
SB-0250 Backstop Replacement indicates the need to replace the backstop plate from serial 335 to 370. However i am not able to locate the backstop plate serial number. i have only the Brake assembly serial number 7687 and 7685. I imagine the SB doesn't apply for my brakes, but i requested Beringer Support to confirm. BERINGER CONFIRMS THAT THIS SB IS NOT RELEVANT. (Dear Paolo, only EA-003 are impacted by SB-025. You own a EA-003.3, so you are not concerned by this Service Bulletin).

SB-028 indicates that my backplate could have misalignment in the retention pins causing scratches to the wheel. Need to apply this SB

Garmin started a Servo Service Life Extension Program for GSA28 Servos. Under this program certain GSA28 will be replaced with a 6 months extension warranty.
Replacement will be done through dealer network (in my case Northair Aviation).
Part number affected is GSA 011-02927-00 (elevator and probably aileron). Unfortunately i will not be able to check part number on roll-servo until i remove the servo from the wing.

Vans sent me this letter. I am checking the different parts purchased.
Empennage Kit, QuickBuild Wings and QuickBuild fuselage seem to have been assembled BEFORE the laser cut technique has been put in place (delivery of all the kits in 2019 and 2021.
The finish kit with aluminum parts was delivered on 23rd April 2022. I checked multiple times the items in the list against the List provided by VANS (versione 3)
Apparently there are no parts in the Finish Kit that are in the VANS List.
I also checked the Firewall forward kit that has been sent in march 2023, but also in this case i didn't find any match with the List Version 3.
I also checked the orders on the VANS Shop but i don't find any parts shipped in 2022 or after. I only ordered Hardware and no aluminum parts
For this reason i am confident that no laser cut parts have been used for this airplane.

Installation of new gear mount weldment following Service Letter SL-00033 and conversation with VANS technical support. They indicated that although not necessary as the build is new, installing during the build would make things easier. For this reason they proposed to purchase and install the kit, which i did as documented in the log.
